To politely get someone’s attention before asking them:

Excuse me, can you help me?

To state the main place you are looking for:

🗺️ Ich suche den Hauptbahnhof.

I am looking for the main train station.

To ask about a specific nearby place:

📍 Wo ist das nächste Krankenhaus?

Where is the nearest hospital?

To ask how to reach a specific address:

🚶‍♂️ Wie komme ich zu dieser Adresse?

How do I get to this address?

To ask whether the place is far on foot:

⏱️ Ist es weit zu Fuß dorthin?

Is it far to walk there?

To direct someone to walk straight ahead:

➡️ Gehen Sie zwei Blocks geradeaus.

Go straight ahead for two blocks.

To direct someone to turn right:
